The Birmingham Racing Commission has approved two Alabama-bred races to be run by the end of the year.

The Magic City Classic, a one-mile race for three-year-olds and up will be run November 25, 2007 at Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky. The purse will be an added $35,000 from the Commission plus $20,000 from the AHBPA.

The second race will be the Alabama-bred Kudzu Juvenile for two-year-olds to be run  December 13, 2007at the Fairgrounds in New Orleans, Louisiana. The proposed added purse would be $35,000 and $10,000 from the AHBPA.
